Sports News : Mirabai Chanu's kind gesture draws appreciation from PM

Indian medallists in the Tokyo Olympics are still enjoying every moment of their success. Mirabai Chanu was the one who got a medal for India on the very first day of Tokyo Olympics which later on also resulted as India's best Olympics in terms of winning a gold as well as tally of 7 medals. After winning the medal Mirabai Chanu met the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the PM too appreciated her performance as well as her kind gesture where she treated all the truck drivers who helped her and dropped her to the training venue when she was an unknown entity. Mirabai Chanu has won a Commonwealth Games gold and an Olympic silver but a medal in Asian Games has still eluded her and that will be her main focus for the next year.
