Football: Sampdoria sink AS Roma 2-0 in Serie A

Sampdoria added to AS Roma's dissapointing end to their Serie A season with a 2-0 victory in Genoa on Sunday. Roma has only one point from four matches and chances of securing a European football spot for next season appear to be all but gone. Adrien Silva opened scoring for the hosts with a solid strike in the 45th minute, while Jakub Jankto added a second after the break.
