Football: Newcastle Jets outsmart Melbourne City 2-1 in A-League

Newcastle Jets defeated Melbourne City 2-1 at Newcastle International Sports Centre in the A-League. Nick Fitzgerald scored late in the first half and gave the home side a 1-0 lead. Melbourne City’s Florin Berenguer found the net in the 70th minute, eight minutes before Steven Ugarkovic blasted the winner for the Jets.
