Football: Cardiff City host tribute for Emiliano Sala ahead of their PL fixture against Bournemouth

Players and fans paid their respects to Cardiff City's Argentine signing Emiliano Sala with a minute's silence before kick-off against AFC Bournemouth in the Welsh capital. A packed and sombre Cardiff City Stadium fell silent ahead of Cardiff's first home game since the disappearance of Sala, along with pilot David Ibbotson, in a light aircraft over the English Channel on 21st January. In a fitting tribute to the missing 28 year-old striker, Cardiff went on to win the match 2-0.
