Bayern Munich kept the pressure on Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund with a hard-fought 3-2 victory at local rivals Augsburg. Augsburg took a shock lead after just 13 seconds when Leon Goretzka diverted Philipp Max's cutback past his own goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer. That mistake saw Goretzka become only the third player in Bundesliga history to score a first minute own goal. Kingsley Coman soon responded for Bayern, before Ji Dong-Won restored Augsburg's lead in the 23rd minute with an emphatic finish. But Coman's second restored parity at the end of a frantic first half, before Niko Kovac's side took a lead they would not relinquish through David Alaba in the 53rd minute. Bayern are now just two points behind Dortmund in second, with the league leaders away at Nuremberg on Monday.
