Basketball: EuroLeague leaders CSKA Moscow beat AX Milan 87-91 in overtime thriller

EuroLeague leaders CSKA Moscow rounded off 2020 with a dramatic overtime win against AX Armani Exchange Milan at the Mediolanum Forum on Wednesday (30th December). Milan's Kyle Hines had the chance to win the game at the death but could only level the scores and send the game into overtime after missing one of two free throws. CSKA's Nikola Milutinov smashed one of the EuroLeague's longest-standing records with 16 offensive rebounds on the night. The previous record of 11 was shared by three players, Travis Watson in 2006, Gregor Fucka in 2005, but first achieved by Quadre-Michael Lollis in 2001. Celebrating his 26th birthday, his efforts also helped his side set a new EuroLeague record for offensive rebounds by a team with 30. Mike James also reached the milestone of 2500 career points scored in the EuroLeague.
