Jonathan Rea reclaimed the lead in the World Superbike Championship title race after coming out on top in a back-and-forth battle with Chaz Davies to win race two in Aragon, Spain on Sunday. The Kawasaki rider was knocked off the top of the standings by race one winner Scott Redding on Saturday, but the five-time defending champion battled back at Ciudad del Motor de Aragon to claim his third victory in four races. Rea made a great start and led through the first set of corners, although a charging Chaz Davies moved into first place with four laps to go. The Ducati rider's time at the front was short-lived though and Rea was back in the lead before the end of the lap. Davies pushed for the rest of the race but ultimately had to settle for second place behind Rea, with Alvaro Bautista completing the podium places and Redding taking fourth.
