World champion Marc Marquez was stretchered away with a broken arm after crashing in the Spanish Moto GP on Sunday - as Fabio Quartararo won a Grand Prix for the first time. Marquez was taken to hospital in Barcelona for surgery on his arm after coming off his Yamaha on lap 22 and bouncing several times on the gravel. The Spaniard has fought back from dislocated shoulders in each of the last two winters and if he misses next weekend's second race in Jerez, it will be the first time in his MotoGP career he has sat out a Grand Prix through injury. The crash overshadowed a maiden win for France's Fabio Quartararo, who finished ahead of Yamaha team-mate Maverick Vinales and Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso.
