Motorsport: Return of 'true great' Alonso good for F1 - Irvine

Former F1 driver Eddie Irvine believes Fernando Alonso's return is a positive for Formula 1. Irvine: "I think it's going to be very good for the sport. I hope Renault is more competitive next year than they're this year. To see someone like Fernando Alonso there is good. There is a lot of young kids in Formula 1, and some are doing an amazing job, you have to say. But it would be nice to see a big name like Alonso, see how he can mix it with those guys because he is one of the really 'true greats, I think, of Formula 1. Although he only won two World Championships I think he probably deserves quite a few more than that but for whatever reason that didn't happen."
