Milos Raonic of Canada put away his past eight defeats to record a memorable win against Britain's Andy Murray in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, to advance to the quarter-finals of the Western & Southern Open in New York on Monday. The 29-year-old Raonic served ten aces against Murray, who is still making a comeback to competitive tennis following a hip surgery towards the end of last year. The match was interrupted by heavy rain soon after Raonic won the first set. Murray's chances to get back into the match was soon snuffed out when the big Canadian broke the Brit in the very first game after resumption. Raonic would soon close out the match in an hour and 28 minutes to win with identical scores 6-2, 6-2.
