Shooting News: Manu Bhaker, Saurabh Chaudhary among 16 shooters named for TOPS support

The Sports Authority of India's Mission Olympic Cell has approved the names of 29 athletes, including Asian Games gold medallist shooter Saurabh Chaudhary and ace table tennis player Manika Batra, for its Target Olympics Mission Scheme. The performance of potential athletes was reviewed in the context of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. SAI has approved the names of 16 shooters including Manu Bhaker, Mehuli Ghosh, Anish Bhanwala Elavenil, Lakshay Sheoran and veteran Sanjeev Rajput. Additionally, six shooters are being considered under the development group for the 2024 Olympics. The Asian Games gold medallists Divij Sharan and Rohan Bopanna were the only tennis players named in the latest TOPS list. Paddler Manika Batra along with Achanta Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan were also included
