Shooting News : Maheshwari Chauhan, retains her Women’s Skeet National crown

Rajasthan’s Maheshwari Chauhan, retains her Women’s Skeet National crown at the 62nd National Shooting Championship Competitions shotgun event in Jaipur, getting the better off Punjab’s Ganemat Sekhon, the same rival whom she had beaten last year. While the two women had to be separated through a shoot-off in last year’s final, Maheshwari overcame Ganemat 52-51 in this year’s final to clinch the result. Bronze medalist in the Women’s Skeet, Simran Preet kaur Johal, was the other star of the day, winning three Golds and a Bronze to ensure a good day for her state Punjab.
