Victory, who knew a win would send them to the top of the table, took the lead in the 55th minute thanks to Swedish striker Ola Toivonen's close-range finish. That appeared enough for them to take the three points until Vidosic's header in the second minute of added time. The 1-1 draw in the Melbourne derby meant Victory remain second on 19 points, a point behind leaders Perth Glory while City move up to fourth on 14 points, ahead of Wellington Phoenix on goal difference.
