Football: Benfica win 2-1 at Porto to climb above rivals at top of Pimeira Liga

Benfica came from behind to win a fiery 'O Classico' 2-1 at Porto and moved above their rivals to the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga standings. Porto went into the game having won nine league games in a row at the Estadio do Dragao, and things began well as Adrian put them ahead in the 18th minute after a VAR review. However, Benfica brought with them the best away record in the league and were back on level terms eight minutes later after Joao Felix fired in. Rafa Silva put the visitors in front soon after the restart before they lost Gabriel to a second yellow card in the wake of a tussle with Otavinho. Porto had chances to level but Benfica goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos kept them out. Benfica now top the table on 59 points, with Porto two behind in second.
