Football : Al Arabi fight back to stun Al Sailia 3-2 in Qatar Stars League

Al Arabi fought back from 2-1 down with 12 minutes left to stun Al Sailiya 3-2 in the Qatar Stars League on Friday. Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony gave the visitors an early lead, but after a 52nd minute own goal by Al Arabi defender Morteza Pouraliganji and an Abdulqadir Ilyas strike nine minutes later, it looked as if Al Sailiya would go on to take the points and tighten their grip on third place in the table. However, Spanish midfielder Victor Vazquez pulled a goal back on 78 minutes and two minutes later Bony grabbed his second goal of the game and it turned out to be the winner. Al Sailiya - with 31 points from 18 games - remain third, but are just one point clear of Al Rayyan and two ahead of Al Ahli Doha. Al Arabi lie sixth, but are now only four points behind Al Sailiya.
