'Speedster' Mathew Pillans to play for Irish Olives in GPCL

Pacer Mathew Pillans will be seen playing for Irish Olives in the inaugural edition of Global Power Cricket League. Mathew made his T20 debut on January 19, 2014 in Border vs KZN-Inland at Pietermaritzburg. In 2016, he signed a three-year deal for Surrey and never looked back since. Pillans has 40 scalps under his kitty in all the 43 matches he has played so far in his T20 career. The Irish Olives debutant has registered his best bowling figures of 3/15 in T20s. After making his debut for Surrey, Pillans joined Yorkshire in 2018 and burnished his bowling prowess since. He bowls with an average of 28.75 in T20s and an economy of 8.82. Mathew's pace attributes could test the opposition batters. Irish Olives would be having great hopes from the experienced pacer to showcase his skills on Indian soil
