Golf: Horsfield and Garcia Rodriguez share the lead after Round 2 of Hero Open

Sebastian Garcia Rodriguez of Spain and England's Sam Horsfield share the lead on 13 under par at the halfway stage of the European Tour's Hero Open at Forest of Arden country club near Birmingham on Friday. Overnight leader Garcia Rodriguez shot a three under par 69 after setting a new course record on Thursday and Horsfield very nearly matched it after signing for a nine under par 63 in round two. The pair hold a shot lead over Belgium's Thomas Detry, with Alexander Bjork of Sweden and Frenchman Antoine Rosner a further shot back on nine under - all three returned five under par rounds of 67 on the day. 56 year-old Miguel Angel Jimenez - making a record 707th European Tour appearance - leads a 5-strong group on eight under and New Zealand's Michael Campbell, the 2005 US Open champion, also rolled back the years by very nearly recording a hole-in-one at the 15th. With just five shots covering the top 17 on the leaderboard, there's plenty to play for over the weekend.
