Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) head coach Mauricio Pochettino said at his first news conference on Tuesday he will relish the "great challenge" which lies ahead. The 48-year-old Argentine, who succeeded Thomas Tuchel, signed a deal until 30th June 2022, with the option of an extra year. Pochettino played for PSG between 2001 and 2003 but said it was not "the time to talk about (transfer market) rumours". PSG have been linked with Barcelona's star forward Lionel Messi, who is allowed to speak to foreign clubs during the January transfer window with his contract set to expire at the end of the current season, and Tottenham Hotspur's out-of-favour midfielder Dele Alli, who Pochettino coached during his time at the English Premier League side. His first match in charge will be against Saint-Etienne in the French Ligue 1 on Wednesday.
