Arsenal are done a decent job so far in the transfer market this summer but are looking to add more to their ranks by the time window shuts down.
According to reports, Arsenal has rekindled their interest in Cody Gakpo, an attacker for PSV Eindhoven. The Dutchman was heavily linked with a move to the Gunners earlier in the window as a result of his goal-laden displays in his native country during the 2021/22 season.
In 47 appearances with PSV in all competitions, Gakpo scored 21 goals and assisted on 15 more, including 12 goals and 13 assists in 27 Eredivisie games. In the Dutch top division last year, only Dusan Tadic (19) assisted on more goals than Gakpo, who also led PSV to the quarterfinals of the Europa Conference League.
But the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos, and Fabio Vieira in North London seemed to have dimmed the Gunners' enthusiasm for the 23-year-old. Gakpo's interest in Arsenal is reportedly back, according to Dutch site VI, although Mikel Arteta's team will still have to fight to pry the attacker away from PSV.
According to reports, Ruud van Nistelrooy's team is apparently unwilling to cut ways with Gakpo before the August 2 and August 9 matches.;
The fixtures will see PSV locking horns with Monaco in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Meanwhile, Gakpo will continue to be a member of PSV through the 2022-23 campaign, but the Dutch club could be convinced to sell in the closing hours of the summer transfer market.

as quoted by Four Four Two.
"We are not the same kind of league but I think we try to look at the Prem and learn about it. Everybody wants to play one time in the Prem. I don't favour one team but I like Arsenal a lot. I looked up to Henry when I was younger because he was a tall guy who played on the wing."

Gakpo is not the only player PSV is attempting to fend off interest in; Ibrahim Sangare is also not anticipated to be permitted to go before the continental match with Monaco.
According to reports, Manchester United has identified the 24-year-old midfielder as the ideal replacement for Frenkie de Jong, who is still adamant about staying with Barcelona.
Sangare's deal at the Philips Stadion runs through the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, but the Red Devils have reportedly yet to make an official offer to PSV for him.
