China's Guangzhou Evergrande confirmed their place in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League after beating Daegu FC 1-0 at home. Guangzhou knew only a win would book their place in the knockout stages and the winning goal duly arrived on 64 minutes after Jeong Tae-Wook headed the ball into his own net from the corner. The three points meant Guangzhou finished second in Group F on ten points while Daegu finished third with nine. Guangzhou will face Shandong Luneng next in the two-legged affair in the Round of 16 in June.
