Football: Esteghlal beat Al Ain 2-1 in ACL Group C

Iran's Esteghlal ended their 2019 AFC Champions League campaign with a 2-1 win over Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates on Monday. All the goals came in the first half with Al Ain took the lead on 13 minutes through Bengt Berg but goals from Mohammad Daneshgar and Morteza Tabrizi meant Esteghlal took all three points. Esteghlal finished third in Group C on eight points while Al Ain finished last with just two points.
