Football: Asmae Ait Taleb working hard to grow women’s football in Morocco

Morocco’s women’s division is working hard in a challenging environment. Despite having too many obstacles, Moroccan intellects launched the national league in November 2018 thanks to KACM coach Asmae Ait Taleb and her friends. The 30-year-old football professional Asmae thinks that Moroccan women have the capacity to set great examples. According to Asmae, not all but, many in Morocco see women’s access to the world of football as a taboo. Meanwhile, the newly-created league includes 12 teams in the top-flight and 33 sides in the second division, with a motive of producing top-class talents from Morocco.
