Football: Sydney FC defeat Melbourne City 2-1 in A-League

Sydney FC defeated Melbourne City FC 2-1 in the A-League. One each from the end of Adam le Fondre and Kosta Barbarouses backed the home side to collect three points. Sydney FC have now collected 28 points after 11 A-League matches and are nine points ahead of second-placed Melbourne City FC.
