Football: Proud and very disappointed - Wolfsburg coach Lerch

VfL Wolfsburg coach Stephan Lerch spoke after their 3-1 defeat to Olympique Lyon in the Women's UEFA Champions League final on Sunday. Les Lyonnaises won a record fifth straight Champions League title after goals from Eugenie Le Sommer, Saki Kumagai and Sara Gunnarsdottir. Former Wolfsburg midfielder Gunnarsdottir's goal was a big blow to the German team, as she left them only several weeks ago. Captain Alexandra Popp and only goalscorer for Wolfsburg said that Gunnarsdottir apologised after the game, but "not much more" was said. Coach Stephan Lerch is still proud of his team, that made a fantastic comeback from 2-0 down at half time.
