Lyon head coach Jean-Luc Vasseur exalted his team on Saturday after they defeated Wolfsburg 3-1 to claim their fifth UEFA Women's Champions League in a row, seventh overall. "Today Lyon are at the same level as Real Madrid in the fifties and sixties. We have been writing history for a few years now and I think we are not done writing history yet" he said after Eugenie Le Sommer, Saki Kumagai and Sara Bjork Gunnarsdottir scored for Lyon against the German side, which also the final to the French club in 2016 and 2018.
