Football : Messi beats van Dijk and Ronaldo to win FIFA Best honour

Barcelona and Argentina forward Lionel Messi has won The Best FIFA Men's Player award. Messi claimed the prize after winning a 10th LaLiga title with Barcelona in 2018-19. The 32-year-old scored 36 times in 34 games and won the European Golden Shoe. Messi beat Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk to claim the honour.
