Football : Rapinoe scoops FIFA player award

Megan Rapinoe has won The Best FIFA Women's Player award for the first time. The 34-year-old received the honour ahead of fellow finalists Lucy Bronze and Alex Morgan. Rapinoe playing a starring role as the United States lifted the Women's World Cup in 2019. The forward finished the tournament in France with six goals to claim the Golden Boot.
