Football: Adam hails tenacity of Suarez

Former Liverpool player Charlie Adam thinks that several biting bans positively pushed Luis Suarez to shine in Europe. The 33-year-old Suarez bit Otman Bakkal in 2010, Branislav Ivanovic in 2013 and Giorgio Chiellini in 2014. Despite facing a long-term ban, Barcelona signed the Uruguayan star in 2014 from Liverpool on a five-year deal. Suarez made a great relationship with Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Brazil’s Neymar in the forward line at Barca. In the 2014-15 season, Barcelona won the Champions League title with the former Liverpool and Ajax striker. Suarez, who has scored 142 goals in just 180 La Liga appearances, has won four Spanish top-flight titles with Barcelona.
