Badminton: Chen and Axelsen into finals at All England Open Badminton Championships

China's Chen Yufei reached the women's singles final at the All England Open Badminton Championships. The number three seed beat Japan's Nozomi Okuhara 21-17, 21-11 and will now face two-time defending champion Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei. In the men's singles final, Denmark's Viktor Axelsen will play top seed Kento Momota of Japan after knocking out defending champion Shi Yuqi of China 22-20, 13-21, 21-9. In other semis, there was Chinese success for Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan in the women's doubles and for Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong in the mixed doubles. In the men's doubles, unseeded Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik upset eighth seeds Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto of Indonesia 12-21, 22-20, 21-19.
