Wrestling News: Wrestler Sakshi Malik disappointed over Arjuna Award snub

Wrestler Sakshi Malik has expressed displeasure over her name not being included on the list of Arjuna Awardees this year, the ceremony for which will take place virtually in August 29 this time and not at the Rashtrapati Bhawan amid COVID-19 pandemic. Sakshi recently put out a tweet on social media asking honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi as to how many medals should she win in order to get Arjuna Award. Sports Ministry recently decided not to include Olympic bronze medal-winning wrestler Sakshi Malik and former weightlifting world champion Mirabai Chanu in the list of Arjuna Award winners for 2020. Sakshi was conferred with Khel Ratna Award in 2016.
