India's Prajnesh Gunneswaran surprisingly fluffed a one-set advantage to lose to Soon-woo Kwon in the first round of the Atlanta Open. Gunneswaran who is ranked 88 won the opening set in a tie-breaker against world no.117 Soon-woo Kwon of South Korea. The second set was also a closely fought battle which the Korean player won 7-5. But in the third set it became a completely one-sided affair where Prajnesh lost the plot and lost the match 7-6 5-7 0-6.
