Barbora Krejcikova celebrated her rare 'double' of French Open titles in Paris on Monday. The 25-year-old enjoyed a memorable weekend as she won her first Grand Slam singles title on Saturday following her three-set victory over Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the women's singles final, and then claimed the women's doubles crown a day later after a straight-sets win alongside Katerina Siniakova over former singles champion Iga Swiatek and Bethanie Mattek-Sands. With that achievement, Czech Krejcikova became the first player to win both the women's singles and doubles titles in Paris since Frenchwoman Mary Pierce completed the feat in 2000. Krejcikova has now won seven Grand Slams - one women's singles crown, three women's doubles trophies and three mixed doubles titles - and three in 2021.
