Daniil Medvedev has made it through to the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters, after beating Australia's Alex de Minaur 5-7 6-2 6-2. Fans would have been disappointed to not be in attendance at the AccorHotels Arena, after both players put on an incredible first set, which was eventually edged by De Minaur. Medvedev however grew stronger throughout the game, pulling his weight in the second and third to ensure a place in the final eight where he will face Diego Schwartzman. The Russian admitted to being impressed by the Argentine, who beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in straight sets earlier in the day.
