The world number one Novak Djokovic said the first thing he did once his quarantine finished was to 'walk in the park' as he continued with his preparations for the Australian Open. The eight-times Australian Open champion also thanked officials ahead of the Australian Open despite being openly critical with the length of the quarantine and the poor food conditions. Earlier on Friday, Djokovic missed the start of his scheduled exhibition match against emerging Italian talent Jannick Sinner, who was Nadal's quarantine practice partner. Djokovic got treatment for a blister on his right hand, leaving Sinner to play Filip Krajinovic, but the eight-time Australian Open champion arrived on the court at the start of the second set to cheers from the crowd.
