Tennis: Carreno Busta defeats Shapovalov in Chengdu Open semis

Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain defeated eight seed Denis Shapovalov of Canada in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, to reach the Ghengdu Open final. The Spaniard, who reached his first championship match since 2017, claimed the victory with his first match point after one hour and four minutes.
