The long drawn battle between the Sports Ministry, Indian Olympic Association, and National Sports Federations, finally coming to an end but the results seem as ambiguous as the administration of Sports in India. After more than 10 years of the National Sports Code, none of the federations have adhered to the same and now the final results allow 6 months to 1 year for federations to comply with the code. BCCI does not seem anywhere close to becoming a Recognized National Sports federation, but wants a tax exemption of 900 crore from the Government.
