During the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli are said to be competing for the signature of Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho.
The 23-year-old missed a portion of the 2022-23 season due to off-the-field issues, but he finished the season with 41 appearances in all competitions, seven goals, and three assists.
The England international has struggled to make an impression for the Red Devils since his high-profile arrival from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021, and there have been reports that Man United are willing to let him leave for approximately £60 million this summer.
Tottenham have been linked with the former Manchester City kid, and the North London club are desperate to recruit him, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
However, Jacobs claims that Spurs will face competition from PSG and Napoli, both of which have sent scouts to watch him play throughout the 2022-23 season.
"The Tottenham interest is real for sure,"
Jacobs told The United Stand.
"My understanding is that Erik ten Hag was quite prepared to give Sancho time and as a consequence he's not at the top of the list in terms of outgoings, but money can talk.”
"I think £50m or £60m would be the kind of fee which would give Man Utd a decision to be made, especially if they have other incomings waiting.”
"That one is a possibility, nothing is advanced at this point to my understanding, but the Tottenham interest is genuine. I would also add a couple of European clubs to the list that have looked at Sancho. One is PSG and the other is Napoli.”
"So there's two clubs there that will both have Champions League football next season that have sent scouts to watch the player and have discussed him internally as well."
Sancho has six goals and three assists in 26 Premier League games for Manchester United during the 2022-23 season, as the Red Devils finished third in the table.
However, he struggled to make an impression in cup competitions, scoring just once in 15 games in the Europa League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup in 2022-23.
The attacker has made 79 appearances for Manchester United since joining from Dortmund, scoring 12 goals and contributing six assists.
However, the Englishman shone during his time in Germany, scoring 50 goals and assisting 64 times in 137 games for BVB across all competitions.
Man United are not said to be actively attempting to sell Sancho this summer, but a big-money exit would offer them additional finances to go towards acquiring a new number nine.
