IPL 2021 : Chetan Sakariya on restricting Delhi to modest total

The Rajasthan team failed to chase down a 155-run target against Delhi at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi despite Rajasthan's pace battery, led by Mustafizur Rahman, put up a disciplined effort to restrict Delhi Capitals to a modest 154/6. The batsmen of Sanju Samson led side came a complete cropper as they managed to only score 121/6 in 20 overs losing the match by 33 runs. The Rajasthan left arm pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Chetan Sakariya bagged two wickets each and Kartik Tyagi and Rahul Tewatia bagged one wicket each. Post match Sakariya explained that they realized that the wicket in Abu Dhabi was on the slower side so they decided against giving them pace and succeeded. After this defeat Rajasthan slipped to 7th position in the points table with only 4 wins in 9 matches. Therefore, they will now have to play out of their skins to make it to the play-offs.
