International Olympic Council is looking at postponing Tokyo Olympics in four weeks of talks

The IOC will look at postponing the Tokyo Olympics during four weeks of talks amid criticism and pressure by athletes and sports officials during the coronavirus pandemic. IOC will deal with scenario planning for the July 24 to August 9 games in consultation with Japanese public authorities, global sports officials, broadcasters and sponsors, the International Olympic Committee said. This includes the scenario of postponement, but cancellation is not on the agenda.
