Justin Thomas displayed a tremendous gut to climb three positions after making the cut to top the leaderboard after the third round of the WGC-Mexico Championship. Thomas carded a six-under 65 to hold a one-shot lead into the final round of the WGC-Mexico Championship. Thomas leads on 15-under 198 total after the third round in Mexico City. He is one shot ahead of Erik van Rooyen and Patrick Reed. Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau all trail on 11-under for the tied fourth. Spaniard Rahm set a new course record of 61, with nine birdies plus a hole in one.
