Dean Burmester claimed his first European Tour victory in more than four years, with a bogey-free final round of 62 at the Tenerife Open on Sunday. The South African began the day one shot back from overnight leaders Kalle Samooja and Nicolai von Dellingshausen, but he rose to the top of the leaderboard with a trio of birdies from the fifth to the seventh and never looked back. He ended the tournament five shots ahead of Von Dellingshausen at 25-under, while Adrian Meronk and Samooja tied for third at 19-under.
