Football: Women's football will be hit massively – FIFPRO

FIFPRO General Secretary Jonas Baer-Hoffmann believes that the coronavirus pandemic will slow down the growth of women’s football. Last year, FIFA organised a spectacular Women’s World Cup France. Megan Rapinoe’s fight for equal pay and various other kinds of stuff changed the formation of the women’s division in 2019. However, due to several postponements in the sporting world, it can be hard for FIFA to brand both divisions at the same level in the coming future.
