Football: Pirlo claims Juventus lack experience after Barcelona defeat

The new Juve coach says Barcelona's greater familiarity with each other lead to their 2-0 defeat. Pirlo: "Barcelona were superior in building their game, they have been playing this way for years and are used to it. They've had more or less the same players for years, therefore they are up to speed compared to us. We are building something different, with players getting their first experience in Europe, and in particular they’ve never played against this kind of team and players. Barcelona's personality prevailed over ours, we were a bit edgy with the ball and not very aggressive when not in possession. "It's a year in which we're building, but we want to try and get results. I'm not here to build without winning. Maybe we will need a bit more time, but we have to know that results must come through a certain type of playing style that maybe we are struggling to get to grips with."
