Football News : Tuchel: Chelsea 'the hunters not the hunted' as he rejects favourites tag

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel insisted that the London side are not favourites to win the Premier League title - even after a thumping 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday and last season's Champions League triumph. "We truly believe we are in the role of the hunters and we need to close the gap to Liverpool, (Manchester) City and Man United. We have to do this week in, week out, but of course this (3-0 win over Crystal Palace) was a very good step." Defenders Marcos Alonso and Trevoh Chalobah - with his first goal for Chelsea, on his Premier League debut - scored either side of a close-range strike by Christian Pulisic in a dominant display by Tuchel’s team. The win came three days after Chelsea won the UEFA Super Cup by beating Villarreal in a penalty shootout.
