Football News : Germany thrashed Italy by 5 goals to register their 1st ever competitive win

In a Nations League demolition in Monchengladbach in 1957, Germany became the first team to score five goals in a game against Italy.
After 69 minutes, Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gundogan's penalty, Thomas Muller, and a quick-fire Timo Werner double had given Hansi Flick's team a 5-0 lead.
This was Germany's first competitive win against Italy ever.
