Football: 'Mbappe, Griezmann, Giroud made France world champions' Deschamps

France manager Didier Deschamps praised his strikers Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud on Tuesday, giving the trio credit for their contribution to France's run to the World Cup title in 2018. Both Mbappe and Griezmann scored during France 4-2 win against Croatia, while Giroud started all matches of the tournament except the first. France will start their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign against Ukraine on Wednesday. Les Bleus will then visit Kazakhstan on Sunday before travelling to Sarajevo to face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday next week. Finland is the fifth team in Group D.
