Football: Mario Mandzukic put through his paces after signing for AC Milan

Former Croatia international Mario Mandzukic was put through his paces in training on Tuesday after signing for AC Milan until the end of the current season. Mandzukic was picked up by the Serie A leaders after six months out of the game, having terminated his previous contract with Qatar Stars League side Al-Duhail by mutual consent last July. A four-time scudetto (Italian Serie A title) winner with Juventus, Mandzukic could now potentially form a strike partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic that would have a combined age of almost 74 years. The 34-year-old Mandzukic, who has also played for Bayern Munich and Atletico, has an option to extend his contract at the San Siro by another year.
