Football: Dortmund train as German top-flight prepares to return

German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund are back in training as the Bundesliga plans to resume on the 9th of May. Second-placed Dortmund have collected 51 points in 25 German top-flight games this season and are four points behind Bayern Munich, who are leading the Bundesliga table. Erling Haaland, who joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in the 2020 winter transfer market, has scored nine goals in his first eight Bundesliga appearances. Last season, despite having a commanding shape in the German top-flight, FC Bayern managed to surpass Lucien Favre’s side to become the kings of Germany for the 29th time.
