Football: Atalanta overcome Fiorentina fightback in 3-2 thriller to reclaim 4th in Serie A

Atalanta overcame Fiorentina's second half fight back to seal a 3-2 win in Florence and move back into Serie A's top four. The away side were in fine attacking form throughout the first half; Duvan Zapata scoring a brace with goals in the 13th and 40th minute. After the interval Fiorentina responded and a double from Dusan Vlahovic drew the sides level in the 66th. Just two minutes later Fiorentina defender Lucas Martinez Quarta handled in the area which prompted referee Juan Luca Sacchi to point to the spot. And the home's side hard work was undone when Josip Ilicic fired the ball down the middle which was too powerful for goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski. Atalanta move back up to fourth with 61 points, two clear of Napoli, who won their match at Sampdoria 2-0 earlier in the day.
