Wout Poels won the stage six of the Tour of Britain in 4 hours 01 minute and 51 seconds. Poels finished the sixth stage two seconds ahead of Alaphilippe. French rider Julian Alaphilippe took over the leader's green jersey. Poels sits in second overall, 17 seconds behind the leader.
